Publisher PQube and localization team NekoNyan have announced that they will present the award-winning visual novel Aokana – Four Rhythms Across the Blue by Sprite on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in August.
The console announcement was followed by a special trailer with links to pre-order the physical and digital release of the game. The trailer, which was released in February, features the characters and some of the illustrations included in the Game.
The players play the role of former competitor Masaya, who meets a new transfer student named Asuka. With Asuka, the characters get involved in the Flying Circus sports club, trying to be the best while hovering in the sky. PQube Announces Release Date For Aokana – Four Rhythms Across the Blue
In the visual novel, players control the protagonist to form friendships with members of the sports club, which can lead to a romantic relationship.
While relationships are often important in visual novels, the player will need to help guide the team and support individual members to do their best.
The game has several ends, depending on the path taken by the player. Players will want to replay the game and make different decisions to see all of the possible endings. Some endings may be disappointing, while others may give the game perfect resolution.
